Virtual servers (VPS)
Virtual Servers also known as VPS (Virtual Private Server) provide more flexible and cost-effective approach to your need. Every VPS can be scaled so you will pay only for the actual used resources without the need to rent a fully dedicated server. Although very cost-effective, the VPS can somethimes suffer from slight drop in performance due to the fact that the actual physical machine is hosting several Virtual Machines at the same time. The good side of Virtual Servers is that if you need more resources they can be alocated more easily and faster. This is because the host machine in most cases already has the required hardware installed and you won't need to wait for a new processor or additional RAM memory to be added.
All VPS hosted by TSBG are:
- based on Proxmox VE platform which is a "Bare Metal" hypervisor type (installed directly on the main server hardware). This means it offers higher level of performance than the "Hosted" supervisor type (such as OpenVZ)
- with fully redundant network and power supply server hosts
- with Disk Space protected in RAID10 configuration
- without limitations to Internet Bandwidth
- with 2 IPv4 address*
*(VM's with less than 1GB RAM and 1 CPU Core will receive only 1 IPv4 address)
